This place is simply amazing. Imagine walking into a pastry shop in France, except it’s in St. Louis in Tower Grove North! We were blown away by the sheer variety of delectable treats!
They offer a tea service that includes lovely sandwiches, scones, and more of their wonderful pastries.
Speaking of the pastries, they have a very wide selection of some amazing French confections. They have a wide variety that changes everyday and so far we have not had anything that wasn’t heavenly in appearance, flavor, and texture. You really need to try this place out if you have not already.
The only complaint I can think of the place is that the neighborhood is a little rough looking, but the Botanical Heights area is up and coming and may soon be “the place” in St. Louis.
Also, La Patisserie Chouquette is currently giving in to the Cronut craze with their own “faux-nut”, so there may be some days when the normal operations are halted as the place is swamped with faux-nut enthusiasts.
- Pros: Incredible pastries, both sweet and savory. Chic interior.
- Cons: Questionable neighborhood, but in up and coming area.
- Charlie’ Favorites: Bananas Foster Bombe, Chicory Coffee, Crepe Cake
- Christine’s Favorites: Choux, Lavender Cake, Bananas Foster Bombe
Merci to you for stopping in. We love seeing posts about guest experiences and seeing things through your eyes.
Thank you again,
