Element is something special. Some of the best chefs and mixologists in the area, many of them Vino Nadoz alumni, have come together under one roof. Christine and I were lucky enough to get to attend their grand opening yesterday. We were not disappointed.
First of, the setting is gorgeous. It occupies the second and third floor of a building complex shared with a rock-climbing gym and The Palladium, sporting beautiful balconies and hip, trendy interiors.
But besides the great views and pleasant setting, Element truly has something wonderful to offer with its food and drink. Everything we tried was perfectly sourced, cooked, and presented. Their tomato dish had some of the best tomatoes I have ever tasted and their scallops just melted in our mouths with wonderful flavor.
As we mentioned earlier, the drinks were amazing. They did not have everything in stock, being their first day, but even their simple cocktails were superb. The desserts we tried were wonderful as well, especially their apple dessert, which was simple yet irresistible.
We could not be happier with Element’s grand debut and we will be back here often.
- Pros: Simply wonderful. Everything is perfectly sourced, flavored, cooked, and presented.
- Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
- Charlie’ Favorites: Scallops, Pork Loin, Royal Baby
