This is probably the best place to eat in the metro-east area. I never thought Edwardsville, mostly known for having SIUE in the middle of it, would have such a wonderful food find.
The listed style is “New American”. Still not sure what that means, but vegetarians and carnivores alike will find much to enjoy here.
The drinks are excellent too. I enjoyed the pimm’s cup, which was bright and refreshing on a hot day, and Christine had some amazing sangria.
Their vegetarian fare in great, we especially like the broccolini with farro.
Deserts? Top-notch. Get the brioche beignets with salted caramel. They were light and not overbearing, yet still very delicious and wonderful.
- Pros: Really tasty food with imaginative combinations. Great drinks.
- Cons: It’s in Edwardsville.
- Charlie’s Favorites: Pork Belly, Broccolini, Muscels
- Christine’s Favorites: Kale Salad, Broccolini, Sangria
