    Christine and I were invited to attend the St. Louis Magazine A-List party! Here are the shots and some descriptions of some of the wonderful food that was brought.

    Evangeline’s Bistro

    Evangeline’s Bistro

    • Style: Cajun, Creole
    • Pros: Filling food that is full of flavor. Wonderful cocktails and atmosphere.
    • Cons: Others have complained about service and wait times, though we have not experienced any problems.
    • Charlie’s Favorites: ┬áMussels Sauvignon, Marinated Feta Cheese, Sazerac
    • Christine’s Favorites: Mussels Sauvignon, Shrimp Po’ Boy, Rum Milk Punch
    Eau Bistro

    Eau Bistro

    • Style: New American, Fine Dining
    • Pros: Expertly sourced, artfully plated, amazing flavors cooked perfectly, and an incredible staff.
    • Cons: Noisy cafe next door, so-so cocktails.
    • Charlie’s Favorites: ┬áDiver Sea Scallops, Heirloom Beet Salad, Cauliflower Bisque
    • Christine’s Favorites: Cauliflower Bisque, Black Mussels, Endive Salad
    Central Table Food Hall

    Central Table Food Hall

    • Style: New American, Sushi, Pizza
    • Pros: Wide variety of well-prepared cuisines under one roof. Try the bread pudding!
    • Cons: Loud and wide open environment might not appeal to all.
    • Charlie’s Favorites: ┬áPapisan, Spicy Scallop Roll, Mussels
    • Christine’s Favorites: Papisan, Apple and Delicata Squash Salad, Bread Pudding
